Mojinos Escozíos

The band of Mojinos Escozios is composed by five mans; two of them are Catalan origin and the three others are Andaluces. The name of the components is Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Juan Ramón Artero, Vidal Barja Jr., Juan Carlos Barja and Vidal Barja.  They are a group with a special sarcasm that characterizes them.  Years ago they performed in Barcelona and the police forced them to stop the show because neighbors’ complaint. One day, the producer Esteve Coll sees them in a show and they all decided to work together.                         
This band birth after that, but is in 1996 when they released their first album called: Mojinos Escozios.  After these recognitions as a music band, they came quickly famous and they sold many records. I would highlight the name they use for their albums, because they are curios and hilarious. Their discography is:

Los novios que las madres nunca quisieron para sus hijas y el novio que las hijas nunca quisieron para sus madres (2008); La leyenda de los hombres más guapos del mundo (2010). I have chosen them to do this work because they are idols to me. Their sarcasm, the way they take life, the absence of the ridiculous’ sense that makes them even bigger than they are.               
And finally their very particular humor, which is what I like. One of the most fun of this particular group is the great majority of their albums, is based on others singers or movies or other known phenomena, ridiculing them.                                                                                                                   For all these reasons and many more, I think that Mojinos Escozios are genius because one of my dreams was to be witness one of their concerts, and when I arrived I realized nobody would laugh so much in so little time with a music band. Because they are more than unique, they are; “El Sevilla”, “El Chicho”, “El Vidalita”, “El Zippy” and “El puto”, they are the Mojinos Escozios.
